PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Resident

Hello! My name is Brooke Lochridge, and I am the current PGY-2 oncology pharmacy resident at Tristar Centennial Medical Center. I am originally from a small town outside of Chattanooga, TN. For pharmacy school, I attended the Univerisity of Tennessee Health Science Center (I spent one year on our Memphis campus followed by the remaining years at our Nashville campus). After pharmacy school, I went on to do my PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Ever since I was a pharmacy student, I always knew I wanted to do oncology. I have had many friends and family affected by cancer and through that I saw how pharmacists can make an impact in cancer care and I knew I wanted to be apart of that. My current interests are broad throughout the oncology space because I enjoy learning it all, however, I do have a passion for the outpatient space. With that being said, my long-term plan is to be an oncology clinical specialist in an outpatient setting.
