PGY-2 Oncology Resident

Hello, my name is Courtney VanHouzen, PharmD and I am a PGY-2 Oncology Resident from Cowell Family Cancer Center affiliated with Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI. I completed my undergraduate degree and played volleyball at Hope College in Holland, MI and pursued my doctorate of pharmacy at University of Michigan. My first year of residency was completed at Munson Medical Center, Munson Healthcare's primary campus in Traverse City. After several months of PGY-1 residency, my passion for the field of oncology was evident. Since then, I applied, early committed to, and entered Munson's PGY-2 in oncology where that passion for oncology has only grown. I am delighted to be here in Tampa, FL speaking on how pharmacists can enhance patient care by finding ways to safely initiate and continue to administer bispecific T-cell engager therapies at community cancer centers.
