Fernando Amaya, PharmD, is currently a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. He earned his PharmD from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy before completing a PGY1 Residency at Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, OR. His professional interests include immunotherapy, cellular therapy and improving healthcare accessibility. After residency, Fernando plans on working as a clinical oncology specialist while also mentoring learners and fostering in them an appreciation for the fascinating world of oncology pharmacotherapy.
