Geisinger
Gionna Knauss is a PGY2 Oncology Resident at Geisinger Medical Center. She has had an interest in haematopoietic stem cell transplant since being a pharmacy student and has been fortunate enough to have her career path and wonderful mentors provide many opportunities to explore hematology and transplant throughout her training. This year at HOPA, she is presenting her PGY2 original research of impact of CMV seropositive status on CMV reactivation after allogeneic stem cell transplant that is also exploring duration of use of letermovir and utilization of post-transplant cyclophosphamide on rates of CMV reactivation at the Geisinger Cancer Institute. Upon completion of her PGY2, she plans to start her career as an Ambulatory Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant/Cellular Therapy Clinical Pharmacist at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
